How it all began
Patrick & Melissa
When Patrick popped the question to Melissa in October 2016 the real planning began.
After searching high and low the pair soon realised the props and games they sought for their wedding weren’t readily available in the Dunedin area. Seizing the opportunity, Patrick and Melissa set about creating quality items they would be proud to have at their big day.
A natural at organising, Melissa researched and planned right down to the smallest details. Together they bought these ideas to life with Patrick’s keen attention to detail, and many many man hours.
Their big day rolled around in December 2017, and in the tranquil setting of Glenfalloch Gardens Patrick and Melissa said “we do”. Giant jenga, connect four, checkers and petanque entertained guests, while signs welcomed and informed them and their LOVE was up in lights for all to see.
Fast forward to 2023 and We Do Weddings and Events is continually growing into something Melissa and Patick absolutely love and that is, helping their couples and clients in creating a dream and experience. Providing signage, backdrops, lawn games, love lights and much more, Melissa and Patrick are a relaxed, down to earth couple who love getting to know their clients!
